Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to GoFetch, its website, social features and Golden Squirrel rewards. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you are not old enough to agree to these terms where you live, a parent or guardian must review them and supervise your use. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

The service

GoFetch helps people record dog walks, scan likely dog breeds, build a field guide, share selected walk activity and take part in occasional location-based partner-voucher drops. Features can change as the product is improved, and some features require a supported iPhone, network connection or permission.

Safe use

You are responsible for your dog, your surroundings and your decisions while walking. Keep control of your dog, obey road and park rules, respect private property and do not use the camera or app where it would be unsafe or unlawful. Never enter a restricted, dangerous or unsuitable place to reach a map marker or reward.

GoFetch is not an emergency, veterinary, navigation or personal-safety service. Maps, distances, weather, breed matches and reward locations can be delayed or inaccurate. Use your own judgment and follow official safety information.

Accounts

GoFetch may create a randomly identified service account so social and reward features can work without a separate password. You are responsible for access to your iPhone and for activity performed through your account. Provide accurate profile and reward-delivery information and do not impersonate another person.

Signing out preserves GoFetch data on the iPhone. Deleting the account removes the cloud account and local GoFetch data, subject to the limited anti-fraud and legal records described in the Privacy Policy.

Camera and AI features

Breed identification is an AI-assisted estimate, not verified pedigree or veterinary advice. A match can be incomplete or wrong, especially for mixed breeds, puppies, distant subjects or poor lighting. Do not rely on a result to make a health, breeding, insurance or safety decision.

Only scan or upload an image you are allowed to use. Avoid capturing identifiable people, private documents, homes or other sensitive information.

Community content

You keep ownership of content you create. You grant GoFetch a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained in backups or required by law.

You must not post or use GoFetch to distribute content that:

• is illegal, threatening, abusive, hateful, deceptive or sexually exploitative;
• harasses another person or reveals private information without permission;
• infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
• contains malware, spam or fraudulent offers; or
• endangers a person or animal.

GoFetch provides report and block controls. We may remove content, limit features or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms.

Golden Squirrel rewards

Golden Squirrels are occasional, limited-availability voucher promotions provided with local partner businesses. No purchase is necessary. A drop can have its own location, dates, eligibility rules, inventory and voucher terms. Those specific terms control if they conflict with this general section.

• A claim requires a valid account and must satisfy the eligibility requirements shown for that drop.
• The first eligible claim accepted by the server receives the available voucher for that drop.
• Availability is not guaranteed, and a map marker does not reserve a voucher.
• One person or installation may be limited to one claim where stated or required to prevent abuse.
• Partner terms, expiry dates and geographic restrictions also apply.
• Automated claims, location spoofing, replayed claim tokens, duplicate accounts and other manipulation are prohibited.

We may pause, cancel or correct a drop if there is a safety issue, technical fault, fraud, inventory error or legal requirement. Where practical, a valid recipient will receive the described voucher or a reasonable alternative. Taxes or costs not expressly included remain the recipient's responsibility where applicable.

Ownership

GoFetch, DogDex, Golden Squirrel artwork, software, designs, text and other service materials are owned by GoFetch or its licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, interfere with or exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep GoFetch available and accurate, but the service is provided subject to availability. Features can be interrupted by weather, connectivity, Apple services, third-party providers, maintenance or events outside our control. To the maximum extent allowed by law, GoFetch is not liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseeable loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Apple terms

The iOS app is licensed, not sold. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app unless a valid custom agreement is shown in the App Store. Apple is not responsible for operating GoFetch, providing GoFetch support or administering Golden Squirrel rewards. Apple is not a sponsor of or involved in any Golden Squirrel promotion.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when GoFetch changes. The effective date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to any additional notice or consent required by law.
